BUILDING INSPECTOR/CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICIAL– CITY OF ST. CLAIR
The City of St. Clair seeks qualified candidates for the position of Building Inspector and Code Enforcement Official. The individual in this position performs a variety of routine and complex technical building inspections to ensure the International Building Codes, as adopted, and other related codes and standards are met, while also completing code inspection and enforcement services. The successful candidate will serve in many different roles as it relates to planning, building and zoning within the city. Minimum qualifications: High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of five years’ experience in general construction, inspection, or related field OR any equivalent combination of education and experience. Additional qualifications require the individual to possess or obtain a valid Missouri driver’s license and hold three or more International Code Council (ICC) certifications or ability to obtain within a specific amount of time as determined; the three required will be residential building inspector, commercial building inspector and plans examiner/reviewer. Projected salary range of $45,000 to $52,500 depending upon qualifications with a competitive benefit package. CITY OF ST. CLAIR POLICE DEPARTMENT
The St. Clair Police Department is now accepting applications for the position of a Reserve Officer. Reserve Officers do not get paid but are required to volunteer 24 hours a month. Startup equipment and uniforms are provided by the department. Applicants must be POST certified at date of hire. POST credit hours ( CEU's ) will be provided by the department.
